Dear Readers,
First and
foremost – no, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth! π
And I’m so sorry for the lack of posts & updates on social media these past
few months. In a nutshell, 2020 sucks! π
Who would’ve ever imagined any of this?
But to make a long story short…
As you all
know, I was hoping to complete book #3 in Pantheon of Dragons in 2020, followed
by Blood Harvest, book #12 in the Blood Curse Series, hopefully in the same
year. Then Covid-19 hit, and it was an absolute chaotic whirlwind: kids suddenly home
from college (including my disabled son who lost ALL his services & activities
overnight), family & friends affected & quarantined (including two
back-to-back 14-day quarantines in my own household), getting sick myself (not
with Covid, thank goodness!) while adapting to this strange new world. To put
it bluntly, I felt like I was catapulted back to Little House on the Prairie:
cook, clean, wash, sanitize, look after family… a new reality, dawn to dusk. Needless to
say, there’s nothing like being faced with the immediate health and well being
of one’s loved ones to reorder one’s priorities. As dedicated as I am to my
work – and most especially to all of you! – I had to refocus my days and
my energy on the immediate challenges in front of me and just getting through
the madness.
And there
went my “New Release” schedule!
That said, I
am slowly getting back into the swing of things – well, at least we have
established a somewhat new normal – and I wanted to reach out to all of you with this
update: 2020 has been replaced with 2021. ☹ It is
now my goal to try and hit the first quarter of next year, and in doing so, I
may reverse the order of those two releases – we will see how each continues to
progress. Just rest assured, I have not forgotten you, and I have not forgotten
the books! π Most of all, thank you for your
patience, support, and all the emails & messages – I greatly appreciate each one!
Finally, for
those of you asking if I have anything else for you to read in the meantime, I would humbly re-post my FULL LIST of published books and remind you there are 13 released in the Blood Curse Series (including 2 short-stories),
2 released in Pantheon of Dragons, and Dragons Realm
Saga is now complete, including the original & sequel: All are listed in reading order below. π
Thank you so
much for your kindness & understanding, and once again, apologies for the
belated update!
Please
stay safe…
Tessa
