  3. Good Morning All,

I received my ebook yesterday and I am really excited to have it! I am already half way thru it and I am trying really hard to slow down. I have already spoiled some of it for one of my co-workers
(note* dont ask someone where they are in the novel, if you don't want it spoiled. **Sorry Cindy** lol). Congratulations again Tessa for an intriguing story line. Once again, I cant wait to see what happens but the end will be bittersweet!

  6. Hi Tessa,
Love the books! I'm so glad I picked one up and decided to try it. I'm pretty picky on what I like to read. I also love the fact that you are so connected with your fans and readers. Unfortunately you don't find that a lot. Can't wait to get the book and start reading. Will probably have it done in the first day. Good thing I love to re-read books.

    1. I like to re-read, too. Especially in a series when you want to have all the characters and plots fresh in your mind...lol. Unfortunately, the Blood Curse Series is getting so complex that I sometimes feel like I need to reread ALL of my own books before I attempt to write the next one -- yikes! :-)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Hello Tessa! Congrats on your book release =) I got mine yesterday and am enjoying it so far! (only 8% in so far) I have read all your books and just love your writing style. I really love the concept of the story also.
I have a quick question, I assume that Kagen will be getting a book, but will anyone else? or you ending it at Kagen? <--Since he is the last brother.

    1. Hi, Kelly - thanks for stopping by.

Not sure how many books will be in the series before it's complete. I will say that there is a "story" unfolding in my mind for Kagen, so there's a good chance he'll have his own book. And after you finish BLOOD SHADOWS, you will definitely see another character heading for a book...lol.

      Delete
    2. Another character you say.... Now I need to read faster! lol

      Delete
    3. There are actually a few characters that can be heading for a story. Won't say anymore over here though so I don't spoil anyone!

  8. Good Moring to all,
I have already read Blood Shawdows, ( Thanks Amanzon) they sent it to me 2 wks early, the fourth book of Blood Shawdows, was nothing I expected from Tessa, but it was the most intriguing. I think Tessa, showed exceptional, talent to bring back characters from the frist novel, and integrate them back in to the story line. I would have never seen that one coming. I will be here most of the day. Look forward to seening other opinions and again Congradualations Tessa !!!

  10. Hi Everyone!

I read..no, I take that back..I DEVOURED Blood Shadows last night! It was amazing, as Tessa's books always are. It's like revisiting old friends and getting freaked out in the process :) I like it there so much, I've not so subtlety petitioned to be Kagen's destiny...LOL.

    Conragtulations Tessa..the book is AWESOME!!

    1. I must say as an author, I love words like DEVOURED! LOL And "revisiting old friends and getting freaked out in the process" -- that about sums it up. :-) :-) :-)

You may have some competition for Kagen -- there are a few "claims" in my website chatroom (and I think some early petitions for Ramsey...) Smiles.

    2. Oh No they don't...I pledged my troth a long time ago! I'll be stopping by those chat rooms shortly!! LOL..

I don't want to give any spoilers away because some of the group hasn't read it yet but, I have questions and comments. I will hold them for a couple of days :)

I loved the twist! And Braden! Yowza, that is going to be a great story line! (They all are) I just wish we could dive into the next book right away.

    3. Well, the forum is the perfect place for those questions & comments. All you have to do is type **spoiler alert** before you type (or jump into a topic where everyone has already "spilled the beans.") LOL

A fun place to laugh, post, cry, scream, and talk about vampires...or wanting to see Salvatore painfully murdered (as one reader posted last night). LOL

  19. Tessa, big love from me to you. You are more than a great author to me, you are a friend and writing mentor. Without reading your series and following your journey my own series might not have been published. I admire you as an author and all around awesome person. As for the books ... tasty. I agree with one commenter when she said she "devoured" the book. I have done that with each story as well. I'm forcing myself to wait until this weekend to feast on Blood Shadows. Talk about temptation to start! I posted a link on my FB page to a post about you at the Vampire Romance Blog. I was thrilled to discover my book's post next to yours.Too cool! Enjoy this special day, Tessa. You deserve it.

    1. Hi Marci,
So great to see you here! Yeah, the panther did throw a few people for a loop initially... :-) Maybe I should do a poll: How should Salvatore die? LOL He is a horrific being, that's for sure. I have so enjoyed your thought-provoking posts on the forum; you definitely keep my on my toes.

Thanks again for being such a great supporter! Cheers :-)

    2. Lost and Lonely, you should read the whole series again so you can say you have a hot date with Nathaniel, Marquis, Napolean, and then Nachari. Now that would be a very very good weekend date! Some girls are having discussions on who they want to choose for their mates. I, personally, don't mind sharing these lovely men with their Destiny's.

  26. Congratulations Tessa!! I, like everyone else here, love your books. I can always tell when I'll really like a series by how I react when I'm done reading the first one. If I feel sad and like I've lost my best friend, then I know. You get so wrapped up in their lives, it's a real let-down when you get to the end. You keep the books coming, Tessa, and we'll keep reading (and loving) their stories!

    1. Thank you so much -- that's a really good way of putting it! I've felt that several times while reading a book I was totally engrossed in. And yes, it's amazing how wrapped up in a story we can become...

I've already started the rough draft, but I've got quite a ways to go. It's the rewrite and editing that takes the bulk of my time, so a release date is usually not set until I'm through the first rewrite. Some authors can (and must) write on a hard deadline; I'm lucky to get some flexibility :-)
